Derick is an accomplished musician, graduating from Ulster University with a First-Class Honours Degree in 2018. He is a tutor of piano, organ, flute and vocals.
As a tenor, Derick has been involved in many vocal ensembles including the Belfast Philharmonic Choir, The Priory Singers and Chamber Choir West. In November 2018, in Carnegie Hall, he sang at the US premier of The Souls of the Righteous a Requiem by the renowned composer Paul Mealor.
Derick is currently the principal organist of Saint Mark’s Parish Church, Dundela, Belfast. Prior to this, he was organist in Saint Columba’s Church, Omagh and organ scholar in Saint Bartholomew’s, Belfast. As such, Derick is much in demand as relief organist around the country.
Since 2023, Derick has been the musical director of Dungannon Choral Society.
Beth is a passionate and evolving musician, playing both piano and violin.
In 2018, she completed her DipATCL in piano performance with Distinction, as well as securing a place on the Pianoman Scholarship Scheme, under the tuition of Veronica Illinskaya.
Beth has been involved in many musical pursuits over the years, such as being a member of both the Ulster Youth Orchestra and New Irish Arts Orchestra, a past participant in the Charles Woods Festival of Armagh, and was a finalist in Northern Ireland's Young Musician of the Year competition.
Beth is currently a music tutor in Omagh Music Academy.'
